Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

TL;DR — We collect only what's needed to run CollabHub. We don't sell your data. You can request deletion at any time. For questions, email solanadev101@gmail.com.

🔍1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account ID. We store these in your CollabHub profile. When you use the Service, we also collect data you provide voluntarily — such as your YouTube channel ID, subscriber count, niche, and collab request content — as well as usage data including pages viewed, actions taken, and timestamps.

⚙️2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and personalise the Service; display your profile and collab requests to other users; process subscription payments via Stripe; send transactional emails (e.g. account notifications); improve the platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

🤝3. Sharing Your Information

Your public profile data (username, avatar, channel URL, subscriber count) is visible to other CollabHub users. Collab requests you post are visible to all visitors. We share data with trusted service providers — including Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), and Google (authentication) — solely to provide the Service. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

🍪4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser storage to manage your authentication session (via Supabase SSR), remember your preferences, and maintain security. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You may clear cookies at any time via your browser settings, though this will sign you out of CollabHub.

🔐5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, row-level security policies in our database, and OAuth 2.0 authentication via Google. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. While we take security seriously, no system is entirely immune to risk and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

📺6. YouTube Data

When you associate your YouTube channel, we fetch publicly available channel statistics (subscriber count, video count, channel name, and thumbnail) via the YouTube Data API v3. We store this data in your profile to pre-fill collab requests. We do not access your private YouTube data, upload videos, or act on your behalf on YouTube. Your use of YouTube is governed by Google's Terms of Service.

💳7. Payment Data

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. CollabHub never sees or stores your full card details. Stripe retains payment information in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards. We store only the Stripe customer ID and subscription status in our database to manage your plan.

👤8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at solanadev101@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR respectively.

🕐9. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. payment records). Collab requests you delete are removed immediately from public view, though database backups may retain them for up to 30 days.

🌍10. International Transfers

CollabHub and its service providers operate globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect your data in accordance with applicable law.

🔄11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of CollabHub after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

✉️12. Contact Us

If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact our privacy team at solanadev101@gmail.com. For EU/UK residents, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
